Deep in the New Forest, Alan has a great setup and offers hide hire. We went there one wet evening in October, and again during the daytime a few days later. Here you can see some of the images I took home with me.
Badgers
It rained when we arrived but eased off later. I rather like the rain drops in the image, however, I think they add admosphere.
We went back two days later for a daytime session in the hide. The weather was pretty miserable most of the day, although we did see some sunshine at one point.
Nuthatch
The Nuthatch was by far the most common visitor during the day - it's a bird we rarely see back home in our garden, so I was very happy to see so many!
