The Pilot
The last rays of the sun catches the top of the Karakoram Mountains near Skardu in Pakistan
This is why I wanted a drone - for a different viewpoint.
Both images were taken from the exact same spot - the top one with a phone camera showing my drone, the second one just moments later from a much higher viewpoint using the drone!

Valbona Mountains in Albania. This is a panorama shot of five images, each of which is a blend of three bracketed shots.
"The Guardian" at Six Bells, Wales. The statues was commissioned to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the 1960 mining disaster in Six Bells that claimed the lives of 45 men.

The 40-metre-high Ginggis Khaan statue outside Ulaanbaatar in Mongolia, which is said to be the largest equine statue in the world.

Sultan the Pit Pony
The huge earthwork pony sculpture, more than 200 m long, was affectionately nicknamed ‘Sultan’ after a well-loved pit pony from the local mines. It was constructed from coal shale from those mines, a reminder of our industrial history.
You would have no idea of the gorgeous artwork from the ground, as it just looks like a mound of earth.
This is a four-image stitch, as I was unable to legally go high enough to capture the whole structure in one photo.
